The design of the garden was based on the linear flower beds on both sides of the entrance. The paths running through the planting follow the parallel lines of the flower beds. Rows of Tilia cordata provide shade to the house, and the main entrance is highlighted by a combination of shrubs (Viburnum ‘Lucidum’, Buxus sempervirens, Nandina domestica, Westringia fruticosa, Myrtus communis ‘Microphylla’ nana, and Pittosporum tobina ‘Nanum’) and seasonal flowering perennials (Salvia greggii, Salvia farinacea, Verbena bonariensis, and Gaura lindheimeri ‘white’) planted in geometric shapes. The circular planted areas in the private driveway reflect the decorative patterns on the fence.
